THE REALM OF ANGELS AND PROPHETIC ENCOUNTERS...

 “Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it”. Gen 28:10-12

A prophetic encounter is a "DIVINE EXPERIENCE" that opens you up to the spiritual realm. There are times in the prophetic when God uses His angels to initiate prophetic encounters in the lives of ordinary, everyday people. 

Throughout scriptures we see God using angels to initiate diverse prophetic encounters in the lives of different people; Mary the mother of Jesus (Luke 1:28-38); Zacharias (Luke 1:11-20), Gideon (Judges 6:11- 21) and Cornelius (Acts 10:2-7).

Sometimes during such encounters the angels on assignment operate behind the scenes; they are invisible to our physical and spiritual eyes, but are visible through the spiritual manifestations generated by their presence. i.e. You don't see them with your physical or spiritual senses, but you encounter them through the spiritual manifestations created by their presence. For example in Exodus 3:2, the angel Moses encountered at the burning bush was not visible to his physical eyes but he manifested himself as a flame of fire (angel of fire). 

Also, in John 5:4, the angel (healing angel) sent to stir the Healing pool at Bethesda was not seen physically, but the swirling of the water in the pool was a manifestation of his presence.

There are times when God releases the angels of His Presence into your space, you don't see them but as soon as they inhabit your space the place becomes saturated or charged with the manifest presence of God that they carry.

In some instances, the angels are visible in both physical and spiritual realms when they initiate such prophetic encounters. In Acts 12:7-9, Peter encountered an angel (deliverance angel) and the encounter was so real it was difficult for him to ascertain if it was a vision or a physical reality.  

Three things an angel initiated prophetic encounter will do for you

1. It will set you on God's defined path of destiny for your life. When you have such a prophetic encounter you cannot miss God’s plan for your life. It is important for you to align with God’s plan for your life because your rewards in this life and hereafter are tied to you following God’s plan for your life. For example in Luke 1: 28-38, Mary was set on Gods defined path of destiny for her life through an angelic encounter. You will agree with me that because of how complex her mandate or assignment was, she needed that level of clarity of spiritual information and the confirmations that came from Elizabeth’s pregnancy and prophetic declarations, when she saw Mary.

2. It will bring clarity to your Divine Identity; you have a clearer picture of who you are and what you have been divinely called to do. In Judges 6: 12, Gideon encountered an angel (messenger angel); …and the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him. “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valour”! 

3. It will bring strength for the journey ahead and a strong conviction for your divine assignment; at such times angels are manifested in order to initiate prophetic experiences that usher people into making critical destiny decisions that transcend their myopic agenda for their lives. A myopic agenda is usually centered on what you see for yourself with your human eyes and not what aligns with God's plan and purpose for your life (The big picture). 

Moses had a prophetic encounter that transcended his vocal weakness and inadequacies, thus enabling him to fulfil destiny as he led the children of Israel out of Egypt. 

In this journey of life, angels are destined by God to be your co-workers, you either work with them or you work alone.

From today, as you work for God, angels will work with you, in the mighty name of Jesus.
