  “… Man doth not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live”. Deuteronomy 8:3. The Prophetic Word is the proceeding word from the mouth of God that reveals the mind of God. It is the ‘now’ word for the future (i.e., a word declared in the present that manifests in the future).   The Prophetic Word is a word from the mind of God that is declared by the mouth of His Servants. So His Servants have the responsibility to always ask God what His mind is concerning any situation (you also have a responsibility to always ask God what His mind is concerning situations of concern to you). In 2Kings 3:11, King Jehoshaphat said, “Is there no prophet of the Lord here that we may enquire of the Lord by him”?  The Prophetic Word is the declaration of the counsel of God.
