JOURNEY INTO 2025

Every journey God initiates, always has a beginning and an end. That's why He is called the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 1:8).

In Matthew 8:18-28, as far as Jesus was concerned, the journey He had embarked on with the disciples had ended even before it started, that's why it was easy for Him to sleep in the boat inspite of the winds and the storms that threatened them.

So in 2025, in order to get to where God wants you to get to in life and destiny, you must learn to journey with Him.

There are 3 areas in your life where you must learn how to journey with God in the year 2025.

1. The Journey of Thoughts: you must learn how to journey with God with your thoughts.

"I know the THOUGHTS that I think towards you, THOUGHTS of peace and not of evil to lead you to an expected end". Jer 29:11

God thinks with the expected end in mind and He expects you to do the same (align your thoughts with your desired destination). You can't think poverty thoughts and expect to arrive at the destination called prosperity.

Your thoughts can determine your destination in life and your life follows the direction of your thoughts (...as he thinks in his heart, so is he, Prov 23:7).

To reach your desired destination in this journey of 2025, you must focus your thoughts on "specific" desirable outcomes (e.g. think peace only, not peace and evil or better still, think life only, not life and death)

2. The Journey of Words: you must learn how to journey with God with your words.

"So shall My WORD be that goes forth from my mouth; it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what i please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it". Isaiah 55:11

God’s word never returns to Him empty handed without fulfilling its purpose or getting to its Divinely assigned destination.

As you journey with God in 2025, He expects you to always speak with your desired expected end or destination in sight. Your words are your messengers; If you say I will die, your words will look for death for you. If you say i will succeed, your words will look for success for you (death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Prov 18:21)

As you journey in 2025, keep sending out the right words (your messengers) until they bring back your desired expectation.

3. The Journey of Results based on our Choices: we must learn how to journey with God by making the right choices.

In Luke 5:3-6, Peter chose to do God’s will; he gave Jesus his boat and obeyed the instruction to cast his net on the right side, even though he would have preferred to go home after fishing all night and catching nothing.

"...Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at your word I will let down the net." (verse 5b).

When you choose to do God's will over yours, He becomes responsible for the outcome of your choice (i.e. your result becomes His responsibility).

...And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking (verse 6).

However, when you choose to do your will over God's will, you become responsible for the outcome of your choice (i.e. your results becomes your responsibility).

In the journey of 2025, God expects your choices to be guided by a desire to do His will and not yours. As you journey with Him all through the year, He will take full responsibility to ensure you get "net breaking and boat sinking" results or breakthroughs.

In 2025, make up your mind to navigate through the year by aligning your thoughts, words and choices with the will of God, as revealed by His written or spoken word and you will not miss God’s Best for your Life.
