Gen.22.1   Honour is giving someone a higher place of recognition than oneself or the recognition of a person above every other person from amongst a group of people.   Therefore the LORD God of Israel says: "...for those who honour Me I will honour, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed. 1Sam.2.30  Honouring God is giving Him first place in your life. You honour Him above yourself, your desires, your needs, your family, friends, colleagues and people in general. Honouring God involves relegating everything to the background in order to give God first place in your life.
